Avenged Sevenfold - Afterlife
“Afterlife” is a single by the American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold.
The song is the fourth on their self-titled album and it features string instruments like violins and double basses in the intro and post the second chorus.
The music video is directed by Wayne Isham who have shot videos for bands like Metallica, Judas Priest and Motley Crue.
The song is about a man that dies and arrives in heaven “too early”. He asks God if he can go back to be with his loved ones until “the time is right”.
